Greetings Tessitura Community!
We are in our first season of using NSCAN and loving it so far. However, we have a great deal of rental events with promoters that want to sell their tickets through third-party websites (For example, Ticket Master). I know there is a way to do this, but cannot seem to figure out how to release barcodes to these websites so that their print at home tickets could still be scanned upon arrival here at our theater. Help!

Hi Adam,
There is no standard procedure for giving ticket number data to outside promoters to use on the tickets they print, but you can do the opposite, i.e. import external barcode data from the third-party vendors into Tessitura so that N-Scan can read the bar codes they generate. If you do want to do it the other way you can, we've done it for certain events, but we don't do it for any of our Agency tickets as we feel there could be potential for things to go wrong very easily. If you do want to go down that route I can send you some information, but I think importing them is the way forward.
