Hi,
I want to design a new header card for the recipient of an order, so I can mail tickets to the recipient. First I thought I would use the Alt. address field in the ticket order screen. But I do not want to manually put an address in the Alt. address field of the owner record. Because it may cause confusion later.
In the system table T_Design I found in the Element Group column ; Account and in the Description column; Recipient Display Name. But in Ticket Design Element Properties, Data Group; Account there is no Recipient Display Name Element, in the drop down.
2 questions;
1) does anyone understand why I am not seeing the Recipient Display Name in the ticket design, yet it is in the system table? Am I misunderstanding the T_ Design Table?
2) has anyone created a header card for tickets orders that are to be mailed to the recipient?
Any help suggestions are welcome!
Thanks,
Carol
I was told that there isn’t (currently) a way to print the recipient’s name on a header. I found a workaround by creating a separate header that has “Order Notes” where the recipient name would go, and entering the name in there in the order. Of course this only works if the price type you use is specific to group orders. Good luck!

Hello,
Commenting on this post from a few years ago because I'm wondering if anyone found a way to include recipient data on the ticket header design. We would like to start using the recipient field more for group orders, but if the information can't appear on the ticket header it's less helpful. Has anyone found a workaround?
Thank you!

Thank you Kevin.
While this doesn’t help with getting a header card this will be very useful, elsewhere, and elsewhere and elsewhere….ideas are abounding. Already!

Hi Carol,
The two recipient data elements are only available for Ticket designs; they are not available for Header designs.
For a list of all the data elements and where they can be used, see this help topic: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v121/Content/Ticket%20Design/Ticket%20Design%20Elements.htm
