Hi all,
We’re on Version 12.03.
We use TNSPay Payment Client to process phone transactions via the box office phone room. This sits “within” Tessitura and is accessed by clicking on an icon next to Payment Method in the payment window. It means that TNS handles all the card data and it’s out of scope for us in terms of PCI Compliance.
Unfortunately, if the operator receives a “Call Amex” message (usually because there is a security query on the card that needs authorising), there is nowhere for the operator to enter the Authorisation Number given by Amex and therefore cannot put the transaction through.
Is anyone else facing this issue? Can anyone suggest an acceptable business process around this that satisfies PCI and Finance teams? Can we ask TNSPay to add an authorisation number field?
Help appreciated!
