Hiding ticket amount on ticket

Could anyone let me know how to hid the amount paid per ticket from the printed ticket?

  • Billie,

Couldn’t you remove the element from the ticket design?  If this is needed for just a particular price type or production, you could make a copy of your existing ticket design then remove the element and assign the new ticket design to the price type or all price types for a performance or production as needed.

That’s the first thing that came to my mind and it’s pretty quick and easy to do.

    Hope this helps!!

...I'm sure you have this covered but as a policy rule, we only remove face value cost of tickets for very unique/extreme circumstances. We are in the UK, however, and we interpret the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers guidelines very strictly so as to prevent fraud/reselling and maintain high standards of transparency. (It came up recently for my team so I thought it worth mentioning!)

If you wanted the ticket price to appear or not appear dynamically, I think removing the usual ticket price field and replacing it with a user defined element in LP_TICKET_ELEMENTS would work.

  • Got it figured out- It was needed for tickets being handed out as gifts, so no funny business.

Ticketing set up-  Choose show, highlight.  Double Click on the performance.

Pricing tab, click pricing set up radio button

    Choose price, change ticket design

  • Billie.

I know you have this figured out but there is an alternative to changing your one and only ticket design. We have several different ticket designs including a NO PRICE Ticket Design. It's just like our standard design just eliminating the price field. Sometimes groups ask for these.
