Hi
We sell fixed packages and use TNEW for our online sales.
We have 6 concert series in any given year and sell packages of either 3, 4, 5, or 6 concerts. When we 'same-seat' renew <6 concert packages into a new subscription year our Ticketing department decides which of the 3, 4, or 5 concerts in the new year they are rolled into. Customers then renew online and have to tell us via a Notes box we provide which of the choices we've made for them they want to change.
TNEW has a really nice online interface for Flex packages where customers can select which of the concerts they want to attend and it would be great if we could get customers to self serve using this interface.
So, my feeling was I should look at setting our packages up as flex packages. But I think that prevents me from using Tessitura's built in Rollover functionality to carry out same seat renewals year on year. I'm still a bit new to the Rollover functionality but it seems I could sell packages as flex packages, perform some kind of data extraction on those flex packages to populate a base map for each of our packages, then rollover the orders into a new year using that.
Am I way off the mark here?!
David
I'm sorry to reply to such an old message, but I'm facing the same issue. Did you ever find a solution?
