I'm at the beginning stages of my first subscription renewals in Tessitura and I'm hoping someone can help me out with a bit of a puzzle.
For our new season, we are offering our normal 6 opera fixed seat packages. We are also offering "drop 1", "drop 2" packages. These will be fixed seat packages with a renewable roll-over seat. So the customer can choose a 6 opera Tuesday subscription or a 5 opera, 4 opera, etc.
Added complication - for the 5 opera package, only 2 operas share the same date as the 6 opera, for the 4 opera, only 1 opera shares a date. But we still want them to have a seat on the Tuesday base map so they can all be rolled over for a 6 opera Tuesday subscription the following year.
So my question is how to build this? I'm considering setting my minimum performances for the Tuesday fixed seat package at 1, than we'll manually add in the other performances. My main concerns with this is how this effects reporting and also room for error when an operator is entering the subscription.
Does this make sense or is there a better route I can take? I'm coming from Paciolan where we could just assign ownership on a seat - wishing Tessitura had that function!
