Credit Card payment in Quicksale

Hi all,

 

We are having trouble setting up credit card payments in Quicksale. We have set up Visa and Mastercard but when we go to pay for an order in QuickSale we do not get the fields to enter/swipe the credit card details that is illustrated in the documentation, just the total amount.

Anyone know what we are missing?

    Hi Tim,

    If I remember correctly Quicksale determines which card you're using based on the card number itself.  It doesn't offer the user an option to choose which card they're swiping.

    I believe this requires that you set up a generic credit card payment method. See here:

    Thanks guys, we'll take a look at those documents. I did a rushed search last night for payment info in the QuickSale docs but couldn't find this.

    Hi Tim,

     

    Are you using Elements or Transend as your credit card gateway? We are on Transend 2.?  and have had problems settling all Quicksale credit card transactions, whether using the new generic credit card payment or the respective card payment types, though authorizations go through. We have a TASK ticket on this particular issue.

    Just reopening this thread since I am running into the same problem, and setting up a generic CC payment method didn't seem to solve the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
