Print-at-home seat assignments not showing up on ptint out

Hello all,

 

Here is the issue:  Print at home tickets arriving at our venue with the seat numbers blank.  The barcode is present, but the seat assignments are missing.  This seems to be mostly present with patrons who have Macs or IOS devices.  This happens with patrons who print them or show up with the ticket PDf on their iPhone.

 

Please guide me with a solution to having this problem fixed.   Attempting to get a Mac user or patron with an IPhone to not use Safari, Preview, or the Mail program for their tickets is not going to happen, nor is convincing them not to use their iPhone to display their PDF.  As the house manager, my FOH staff has been dealing with very frustrated patrons, and have been resorting to using a sharpie to write seat assignments on their tickets, or sending them back to the box office to get their tickets re-printed.  This seems like a waste of ticket stock, paper, and leads to delays in getting the audience seated.

 

Any advice would be welcomed.  This issue seems to have been talked about in the forums back in 2010, so I hope there has been some magic solution by now that I am just missing.
