Sub order confirmation email going out sometimes sooner that order has been processed

Hi all,

We have been having an issue on getting our email subscription purchase confirmation out in a timely manner.

The main reason is because we get hundreds of subscription forms that come in at the same time and we need to process the subscription before the email can go out. This can take up to 2 -3 weeks depending on the amount of orders to process and amount of shows taking place during that time.

Has anyone else experienced this? Do you have a workaround or alternative way of  confirming a sub purchase prior to it being processed?

Thanks,

Rosa

  • Hi Rosa,

It may not help this year, but I’ve heard of an organization that printed barcodes on their forms and would scan the forms in when they were received, so that the customer could at least get their ‘yes, we’ve received your form’ email.  Or, if you have a good data entry person you could spare, you might be able to make a manual list of ids (of forms received) in Tessitura and then use that to send confirmations?

    Cheers,

    Kathleen
