Hi,
For years we were using the Special Request field on package order line items to denote the account of subscriber sits withs on the head booker account. When v11 arrived we adopted the force transaction to Household method, and so the special requesting followed this same process, linking the package to the household of the sits withs. For the individuals in the head booker's account there seemed no reason to special request those packages. When we converted to v12, all of these special request links to Households came across as the Recipient id on those packages.
However v12 is all about being able to tag the individual belonging to the package. This year we are adding a Recipient to each package for those in the head booker household, and to every individual sits with (even if they are part of a HH).
So I was wondering whether anyone else had pondered the inconsistency with their new season v12 data compared with prior seasons? Has anyone written any tricky SQL code that might update the recipient in bulk from the Household to the Individuals in that household (assuming 2 packages and 2 people in a household) for the Head Booker account and for any recipient packages to other households?
Would appreciate hearing anyone's thoughts on this. My team don't really want to go back through thousands of orders to update this manually. But conversely I don't want to wait another year to start seeing the detailed person-level subscriber movement.
Cheers
Dale
