Hello - I have just finished creating a new season and am unable to seat package line items.
Strangely however, I am able to seat and sell the contents (performances) of that package without a problem. Being able to do this indicates that at the performance level:
I have verified the package setup to make sure the appropriate price types & MOS are included and valid (which shouldn't be necessary to do anyway considering the error is seating related).
I have also run the following scripts just to be safe:
I took a gander in tx_perf_seat to ensure seats exist in this table for said packages and they do indeed.
I am at a loss as to why I can seat and sell all performances individually but not a package of the same contents.
Thoughts or ideas? Thanks
That’s a good thought but unfortunately isn’t the issue. We’ve been using this MOS for years and haven’t made changes to it. Also, the same MOS (and price type for that matter) was used when testing selling the performances individually.
I should have noted we are on v11 btw.

Are you using a new mode of sale? If so, you have to make sure that all allocations associated with the facility being used are also associated with that MOS.

Hi Steven
We experience the same issue in the moment. Did you find a solution for this issue? If we use our MOS System Administrator we are able to use "Best Seats" for the packages, but when switching to a Web MOS we get the error message.
Kind regards Louise
Hi again
I found the problem. I associated the "Unassigned(*)" allocation code to the MOS and that solved the problem.
