We have recently assigned an offer to several different performances, that will be triggered with a special promo code. Two of these performances have 1 price zone and no restrictions on seats. These have been set up and are working perfectly on our website. The third is only offering this price type in a certain price zone and was disabled in all others. When the offer was set up we unchecked the "override default price type" in the offers for Web MOS.
However, when the promo code is entered, customers can only access screens with the specific price zone and it will not display the default price type for seats outside of this zone, and only displaying our youth and student price types. Is there a reason why it is still overriding the default price type even though we unchecked those boxes?
Thanks for any assistance.
Hi Jesse,
This happens to us when I disable a particular zone. When I have offers valid in specific zones, I leave the other zones at the original price, that way, if a patron wants to sit in a seat out of the promo offer they pay the full price assigned to that zone.
Try adding your Standard Price type in on the Offers screen making it available on all appeals (and all sources).
Overriding option I think affects Box office (via the client) i that selecting the zone with the source on the offer makes that the default price selected in the lineitem over-riding the standard price.
