We've recently started using the built in gift aid functionality in Tessitura, but we are experiencing long delays when anyone adds a new gift aid declaration. All is fine until you click the save button, then there is a delay of about 1 and a half minutes until it adds the record. If you go to edit the record afterwards or delete the record, there is also the delay.
Has anyone else experienced this and is it normal?

Which version of Tessitura are you using?
On V11 I had the same issue and got around it by reindexing the GiftAid Payment, Declaration etc tables every night
On V12 I have the issue but now it only happens if I reindex the database

We're on version 11. I will have a look at reindexing the gift aid tables and see if it has any effect.
