Mobile Ticketing and Offline Scanning Help

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with offering Mobile Ticketing (tickets on a phone or mobile device) and responding to outages with Tessitura and/or NScan.  With hard copy tickets we only rip at this point because I have completely given up on Offline Scanning because there is no consistency.  Any suggestions that can be offered in regards to Customer Service procedures and/or fixes to NScan are greatly appreciated.
