I have a few performances (with sales and tickets) that are moving venues. Some initial searches on the forums indicate that using the order import/export utility could be used for this, but I am not certain how this will affect the financials and consistency of the orders involved.
Considering that there are only two perfs, and the original venue is <100 seats GA, would another way be to create new performances in the correct venue and then moving/exchanging all of the existing ticket sales to the correct performance? This seems to make sense to me, since sales will be moved completely into the new venue.
For those who have used the import/export method, could you detail the step-by-step process for this? I haven't been able to find this anywhere.
