At the recent conference in San Antonio, I attended an Over Lunch discussion on Loyalty and Rewards Programs. During this session, someone mentioned a concierge type service of priority handling of VIPS, High-end donors, etc. with a special telephone line where these patrons could call and be connected to a dedicated agent. The Kentucky Center has a Membership program that offers a specific hotline for donors. Patrons in the MembersFirst program donate $100 or more which allows access to that hotline. The perks include pre-sales, discounts, waived handling fees and priority seating. Other than large on-sales, I am generally the only person who answers that number. The members enjoy dealing with one person because I have the opportunity to learn their specific preferences.
We also have a CenterCircle Hotline for higher-level members, which is managed by Development and has similar perks.
