Whenever I run the Package Seating Report in Test, I consistently get no information. I've tried numerous restricting and opening the fields a number of ways, most of which should have given me data, and I'm still getting nothing. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, or can recommend a different report that would include a field to sort by giving as well?

Do you have any unseated orders?According to the documentation it only reports on unseated orders.The Package Seating Report selects unseated package line items, for the selected season, package type(s), and order date range. Alternate and upgrade line items are included with the option to include all alternates/upgrades, first choices only, or first and second choices. The selection can also be filtered by mode of sale, workstation location, package code, price zone, and a list.
I did read the help guide, and yes there are unseated orders that it should be pulling.
I just ran a test on our system with an unseated order (normally we don't allow these) and the report seems to be working fine for us. Are you at least getting the header/parameter information or just a blank page?
I am getting the header/parameter information, just no data. I even went sofar as to create another unseated subscription order just to make sure that something should pop up, but unfortunately no such luck.
Is it possible you have a List selected on the last page of parameters? Hit the Next button in the parameters window.

No list is selected, I've cleared all fields a number of times, but I did in fact run some checks making sure it wasn't marked again.
I think you can use SQL profiler to catch the SQL statement in TEST, and compare it with LIVE.
Could it be that you don't have the LP_UPDATE_SUB_HIST job updating your package history on your Test server? I know this was a problem for me when I started trying to run package reports. Once I'd run this job my reports ran fine. Or could it be to do with the fact that RP_PKG_SEATING_REPORT looks at vs_pkg (a control grouped view)?
Other than that, I've no more ideas, sorry..! :)
I think that lp_update_sub_hist would only matter if the report was pulling from the sub history table. I did a quick search of the report for anything with "hist" in it and didn't turn up either the original t_subscription_hist table or our local one.
