When you offer a discount on a ticket and the ticket price includes the facility fee, do you discount the facility fee or take the discount off the ticket price? We take the price off the total ticket which includes the facility fee but then keep the facility fee at the normal price. So $10 ticket, $1 facility fee = $11. 10% off is $1.10. We keep the facility fee at $1 and change the ticket price to $10 - $1.10.
Because we have this business practice, the v12 Calculate function won't work for us. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi Gloria:We don't discount facility fees when we discount a ticket. We use a separate layered map for facility fees, so we can track them via an isolated deferred revenue g/l account.
It may be worth finding out if your facility fee statement is for a flat fee. Our fee applies to any paid and seated ticket, so we're not allowed to discount the fee. It's worth asking about.
