TPAHTS & Partial Reprints

Good day Tessiturians!

We're in the testing phase of implementing TPAHTS and was wondering if anyone has been able to perform a partial PAH Reprint?

In testing I went into the sub line items and selected one of the items and when clicking on "Print Ticket" the "Request PAH Reprint" button is disabled.

Thanks!

  • I don't believe that this is possible.

  • Anything new on this front in the last 2 years?

When members order a whole season this is problematic.

    thanks!

  • I'm not sure if 12(.5) had any updated but AFAIK this isn't possible because of limitations put in place in WP_GET_ORDERS_FOR_DELIVERY

At FTC we opted to forgo TPAHTS for a print-on-demand, login, version of PAHT more closely aligned with what is the industry standard [Ticketmaster, Ticketfly]

    • Links on the site and in the order-confirmation to print tickets
    • Reminders go out on a per-event basis.
    • Tickets may be reprinted at will.
    • Unprinted tickets may be pre-printed for will call the night of; reprints by the customer will not trigger any issues since the ticket numbers will be retained.

To get here there were a few things that had to be added

    • Links and emails
    • Box office needs to be versed in correcting login issues
    • A view and custom local procedure to bridge WP_PRINT_ORDER to work on a per-show basis, allowing reprints
    • Custom PDF, image, or font barcode generation software integrated with the above.
The system we set up has been working fairly well, it has it's pros and cons but overall the experience has been positive.
