Hi,
I have a TNS support call open with this issue, but as it's taking some time to resolve, I just wondered if anyone else had experienced it:
Having upgraded one of our Box Office counter PCs from XP to Windows 7, we can't complete installation of the chip-and-pin software (TNSPay 2.1.2a). We can install it from the disk and set up a password, but when we then try to log in to the TNSPay Payment Client Admin to configure it, we get the error
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. The specified password does not match the database password. [Data Source = tns_payments_system.sdf ].
We were definitely using the admin password we had just created. We've uninstalled and re-installed the software a couple of times and set different passwords to try, but they immediately get rejected when we try to log in.
Has anyone else had this one?
Thanks,Rog
