Hi Tessitura Community!
We are attempting to design a will call header ticket that is essentially different from the mailing header. I am curious to know if any other venues have done this and if so I would love to see your examples. I am wondering about two things with the headers....
- Can a Performance Name be populated onto a header ticket? In essence it could be the ticket text line 1 or 2?
- The other question is that we tend to write the names as Last Name, First Name.....any advice on what to do if its a household or an account with a couple that has seperate last names?
Thank you!
Brian
Hi Brian!Having a will call header will save your staff time. Also, the window envelopes are re-usable, which will save you a bit of money if you don't hand them out with the tickets.
We don't show the performance title, as we often have multiple performances in a single will call envelope, so we only show the first performance date. I'm sure you can add the element, but it may have to be custom. There is an option in ticketing setup of 'Performance' option in the drop down, but there isn't a choice option within the sub set for title
To accommodate Households, we created an Affiliate 1 and an Affiliate 2 header type for Household will call tickets (one each for first name and last name). We choose the will call header type (HABO A1 or HABO A2) and that person's name shows up as Last, First, on the will call header.
Please feel free to give a call if you have any questions.
Kindly,
Mark Sackett
Hi Brian,
We don't populate the performance name but rather use the Earliest Performance info from the Order Data Group - we have it pull Performance Code, Date and Time onto the Header.
