PAH reprints with order changes

We are seeing some situations where when an order has had a change made to it, for example an exchange. The delivery method is set to PAH , but now the tickets don't go out since the change has occurred in the order. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas as to why this might be happening and what can be done to fix it?

  • I believe this is expected behaviour with the current PAH service.

    We had an issue where we had 2 shows in an order, one where printing was enabled and another where printing wasn't. The show that was enabled would send out, but then when we enabled the second show the additional tickets wouldn't send automatically.  We also see the same thing happen when tickets are printed out, but are then exchanged in the same order, the new tickets will not send.

    I opened a help ticket and was told that PAH considers the order as a whole so if there is a print event in seat history it will not send out the extra tickets without  a manual reprint the whole order and the same would happen with exchanges. The exchange already has a print event against it, so it won't get picked up, and you can't request a reprint for the new tickets as the new tickets haven't yet been sent.

    our Call Center is experiencing the same issue. 

    Is the only solution to do the exchange in a new order for PAH orders? anyone else doing something creative?
