TNEW pop-ups

Hi All - We want to present a pop-up to a customer on TNEW stating something like "must show ID" if they select a student price type. Is this or something similar available?

In another regard; just before someone checks out, we'd like to offer parking and other aux items. How do we bring an aux item into another purchase path?

We'd like to get creative with TNEW and would love to see what other organizations are doing that don't require customization's.

Thanks!

  • Hi Steven,

You should check out the HTML tips for TNEW users on the TLCC  San Diego and San Francisco pages: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/tlcc/2013/Presentations/07-M_Basic_HTML.pptx

We hold any Under 30 tickets for collection at the venue, even if the order contains full price tickets.  I've inserted this statement in 2 locations on the purchase path using the Checkout.aspx/PageFooter and TNEW_ShippingText fields in LTR_TN_EXPRESS_WEB_CONTENT.  Most patrons select Venue Collect as the shipping method so, this works just fine for us.

For redirection to an auxiliary event, why not insert a custom button or hyperlink in the cart.aspx field?  I've done that in the past for parking and program vouchers.  You can direct the patron to that auxiliary performance page or event listing.

In another scenario, I inserted two hyperlinks during our subs renewal period on the calendar page - one for new subs which redirected to .../subscription/seasons.aspx and the other for rollover renewals directing to the login page.  This was helpful because we had so many people reset their passwords but didn't renew at the same time so saved them getting lost.

Let me know if you want to know any more.

    Cheers,

    Kevin
