Premium pricing config/Tnew

Hello,

We are new to Tessitura and trying to configure a premium price type that would:

 

  • be assigned to specific locations within a price zone
  • display in SYOS as the only price type option for specific locations
  • easily be toggled back to regular price types

    We've danced with this setup at Starlight before.  It's somewhat similar to what Ticketmaster refers to as Platinum seats.    We discovered that the only way to really make it work for us was to use a new price zone(s) for the Premium price level/ price types.  In practice, this wasn't very difficult for us because we had already built a whole bunch of spare price zones into the zone map that we use for SYOS - if you don't have this luxury it could be more of a challenge.

    With this setup we are able to easily define some premium seats, quickly adjust the amount of the premium up-charge and just as quickly turn those seats back in to regular "face price" inventory.
