Ticketing Specialist Job at Sydney Theatre Company

1. Hours of Work

The position is for an initial two year fixed term contract, with 6 months probation.

The usual hours of work are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. However, the job requires a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

The position is based at The Wharf, Sydney Theatre Company, Pier 4 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay.

2. Salary and Entitlements

  • Salary is dependent on skills and experience
  • 4 weeks annual leave
  • 10% superannuation
  • Complimentary tickets to STC productions

o    2+ years experience in managing ticketing for the arts and/or entertainment industry

o    Advanced working knowledge and expertise of Tessitura

o    Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships to high satisfaction levels

o    Demonstrated ability to successfully manage direct reports

o    Exemplary customer service skills

o    Excellent communication and negotiation skills

o    Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

o    Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous projects under pressure
