Scalping Tickets

For a few of our most popular NGLive events we have experienced some scalping happening right in our lobby in front of us. We are working with our Development team to offer an option for patrons to donate their ticket back to us (and in turn receive a receipt) so that we can re-sell these tickets at face value. While we hope this will help I wanted to see what other policies exist for unused/unwanted tickets the night of a show. Additionally, how do you deal with scalping?

Thanks,

Lisa

We require guests who are reselling their tickets to operate across the street from our campus and security will escort them there if necessary.

    Hi Lisa,

For our series events, we do offer the option to donate back tickets.  However, in the case of outside renters, this is not an option.  Only in VERY limited cases do I tell patrons they may sell to other ticketbuyers – but they must situate themselves far away from the BO window.
