I am trying to make some new performances live on our website; I'm not sure that is possible with-in Tessitura or even connected to it? We have an external IT department, should I get on to them I wonder?
Sorry if this is a silly question I am new-ish to Tess! Thoughts appreciated!
It really does depend upon how your website is coded. Most websites are linked to Tessitura but which criteria they use to put something available on line changes from site to site. You will probably need to get in touch with IT, but don't just ask them to fix it, ask how you can get them online.
If you wanted to try some things first, in the performance details under ticketing set-up make sure the shows in Tessitura have the status "on sale", check the "publish web dates" and see if they are accurate to when you want it online, and check for any web related mode of sales to see if they are seperated and in each new performance. Compare the performance setup of a new show with one already on the web and look for differences.
