Print at Home Tickets w/in 7 Days of Event

We have just successfully implemented print at home tickets.  However, the desired default setting of holding tickets at the box office within 7 days of the event is overriding the delivery method on the web.  Thus, print at home tickets are not available to customers who place an order online within a week of the event.  Is there a way to rectify this so that people can purchase print at home tickets all the way up to the day of the event?

Our theory was to set up a new mode of sale, but we're not sure how that would show up and be activated on the web in the ordering process.  Thanks in advance for any advice!
