rounding subscription prices

Hi everyone,

Does anybody have a solution for rounding subscription prices? We set all our prices to the dollar, but when I’m building, we often end up with rounding errors because you can only enter prices to the nearest cent. (ie an 8-pack ends up at 299.96 or 556.04).

Since package prices are an accumulation of the individual show prices, each of which have 3 price maps, is there a good way to round these so the box office staff doesn’t have to manually fix every order?

In the past we’ve faked it by creating price maps that are a cent up or down and fudging it, but this becomes a problem with Flex packs because you don’t know which shows will end up in the package.

Has anyone solved this problem?

Thanks!

  • What if you made the priced editable? That way your staff could adjust the pricing on the fly.

Have you ever considered making all of your prices rounded up to the nearest 25 cents?

That’s that we do with everything.

    Just a thought.
