Web Addresses on Constituent Records

Hi all,

I'm sure someone must have asked this before - but does anyone have a sensible place to store Web Pages for constituents. (e.g. if I meet a business contact, and I want to store the website of their business). In Outlook, it's called Web Page Address on a Contacts record.

I was thinking that the simplest solution would be to create a new type of Electronic Address caleld Web Page Address and just put it in with the email addresses. What have other people tried?

Cheers,

Matt

  • These are meant to be stored on the Addresses tab using the Electronic radio button.   Create an eaddress type in TR_EADDRESS and be sure to set the email_ind to unchecked.  This will allow you to store a URL.

    How about an Attribute?

  • They're both valid options, but I like the idea of putting it on the Electronic Address tab better. Thanks, guys!
