Defining contiguity on "columns"

Hi everyone!

We are building a new facility and applying contiguity wasn't initially big problem, until I began defining it for physical rows that are represented vertically (as columns). This has to be done seat by seat and is a huge pain. There just has to be a better way of doing this. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Chris – Yikes! That is not a fun task.

I was under the impression that the contiguity seat numbers needed to match the ticket seat but in fact they do not (thank you Josh). This made assigning contiguity for vertical rows a breeze. Hopefully that helps you out at least a little.

Thanks for the Ctrl + double click tip!

    Good luck on Thursday.

    I don’t think there is. Steven -

We routinely build new facilities in the round, and the horizontal sections are a dream. The ones on the diagonal or the vertical are a pain! However, ctrl + double click is your friend - it saves you drawing a box round every little seat. Good luck! I’ll be doing it again myself on Thursday for most of the day. Grrr.
