In preparation for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we’ve stumbled across a few items that have left us with some questions. We would like to offer our current holiday packages at discounted prices. The issue for us is how to time it so the discounted packages are only valid for 24 hours on Black Friday and then revert back to the original prices without any manual fixing. Is this possible? Has anyone done something similar?
Thanks!
Janelle
Hi Janelle,
We do things like this with ticket pricing all the time, though I haven’t specifically done it with packages.
You should be able to set the packages to be on sale for the time you want with the MOS dates on the packages or the price map end dates on the performances, depending if you want to have different package codes or just different prices to track.
I would set up each performance in the package with the price you want and a start date of midnight the day before and an end date of midnight the next day. This price will only be available between the times you specify.
Feel free to give me a call if this doesn’t help!
