We are making reservations available for booster seats for an upcoming performance. Essentially, we would like the house staff to receive an email with the patron's seat info and how many booster seats are needed. This way the seats are in place before the patron arrives. Would a CSI be the best way to go? Does anyone do something similar? Thanks!

I think CSIs are probably the best way to go. We use them for ADA needs and it works great. The ticket agents create the CSI (or the website creates it if the seats are purchased online) and our FOH staff runs a report before each show. This way they are prepared for the patrons when they arrive.
