List Inclusion/Exclusion

Hi;

I'm looking for a way to take 3 lists and only keep the people that are in all 3 lists.

Like a ven diagram anyone who doesn't fall into all 3 lists I don't want to see.

I tried just pulling a list that used all of this criteria in it but it was unable to pull anyone as I was re-using very specific criteria sets though when I to into the accounts I can see that they should be pulling hundreds of constituents.

I am pulling on Performance Date and Performance Title so with this am able to get constituents that are going to 2 of the shows but once I re-use one of those criteria the list generate no-one.

Please help.

    Hi Cathy-Anne,

    I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're trying to do, but if you have 3 separate lists X, Y, and Z that are all working as you expect you should be able to set up a fourth list with criteria like these to combine them:

    List IN X
    List HAS Y
    List HAS Z

    That would return only the constituents who are on all 3 lists.

    When you re-use criteria in the same list the difference between "in" and "has" is really key. If you're using "Performance Title IN ..." more than once you'll get zero results. But, you could try using "Performance Title IN A" with  "Performance Title HAS B" and "Performance Title HAS C" for example.

    Does that make sense?
