Off-Site Ticket printing

We have a situation where we are trying to have an off-site operation where we connect to Tessitura via a laptop, but I wanted to see if anyone had experience printing to a non-BOCA printer since it is not feasible for us to carry a BOCA printer out to that site.

This could either be printing directly to a Non-BOCA printer or probably to a PDF then automatically to a Non-BOCA printer.

If anyone has done this before or know of a method to get this done, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Four years later: I'd like to bump the thread.  It's really inconvenient for me as an Information Systems guy generally tasked with building ticket designs that I can't actually run test orders and print out the results in any format without an expensive specialized printer which I'm not going to get, due to working remotely.

  • Not sure about production use, but for development, wouldn't it be possible to rig something up to a PAHT server?

I don't actually have any experience with PAHT, but I was under the impression that it rendered FGL to PDF. That's all you really need to do for either of these situations. Maybe BOCA themselves have some software to do this?
