One Sale Check Box

Is there anyway to keep a show that is "Sold Out" excluding those seats that are held for comps or VIP and Media on the website as a "Sold Out" performance in the Event Listings while still being able to manipulate the seats within the system.

Currently all I can think of is to make a set of dummy performances to display on the website as "Sold Out" and pull the web MOS from the current shows so that I can do what I need to for seating comps VIP and Media.

Any suggestions otherwise would be extremely helpful.

  • Hello Good People:
I may be misunderstanding what you are trying to do, but if I'm reading this correctly, and what you are doing is to continue to show no seats available while you seat...then I'd try something like this:

Use an allocation that is not available to the web group.  Put all seats on that allocation and do your seating magic.  If you want to put returns on sale later, just remove the allocations.

If I've totally misunderstood what you are trying to do, then please feel free to ignore this.

In either case, here's wishing you kind folks a great day!
