We are looking to automate data files for sales from external ticket providers.
As an example, we would allocate a number of tickets to be sold via another ticket provider. They would in turn sell the tickets through their own channels and report back to us on sales by providing a data file. The data is then updated into Tessitura by a manual workaround.
In an ideal world we would like this file exchange and data update process to be fully automated.
I have worked on data file transfer projects in the past but not with Tessitura and would be grateful to hear from any others out there that have set up automated file transfers of similar nature?

Hi Aaron,
We have beta tested a system very similar to this. We haven't moved it into production yet, but it has proved out quite nicely (we got a little help from Tess Consulting to make some of the pieces work). It is not a fully automated system, but all of the heavy lifting is handled with a custom utility and the Order Import Utility.
