We recently implemented control groups in our environment, and a minor problem was discovered.
Most of our tickets are sold for performances in one season. A few performances exist in a season assigned to a different control group.A problem occurs when tickets are sold for performances in seasons with different control groups.
Most performances are part of season "X", and season "X" is assigned to control group "A". The campaign for season "X" is also assigned to control group "A".A few performances are part of season "Y", and season "Y" is assigned to control group "B". The campaign for season "Y" is also assigned to control group "B".The Box Office may sell a ticket to performance "1", and that performance is in a season with control group "A".Within the same order the Box Office may sell a ticket to performance "2", and that performance is in a season with control group "B".The order assesses two order fees: One for performance "1" and a second for performance "2".We only want to assess one order charge. It is rare for a patron to purchase tickets to performances with two different control groups. If this does occur our Box Office can override one of the charges, assessing only one order charge.
In Fee Setup we have two single ticket order charges, one for each season (and one for each campaign). There are many aspects of Tessitura that we're still learning, and I suspect we still need to learn stuff about fees.
I hope this makes sense, and hoping someone can provide some thoughts, and ....

Hi Wendell,
You might have solved this issue by now, if not, you might want to use "Constituent Level" as the Fee Frequency in your fee set up calculation. It sounds like you are using Order Level which would add multiple fees as you have described.
Cheers,
