Putting Limits on Promo Codes

We have an understanding of how to limit the sections within a promo code but we have offers such as staff receiving 2 comp tickets to some shows.

For this we need a promo code that is limited to 2 seats so they can reserve this online instead of having to do all of these orders through our CSRs.

Is there any way to limit the number of tickets that can be bought using a promo code?

    Hi Cathy-Anne,

    This is an older post but the same question just came up for us.  Did you find an answer?  We have a promo code that we have limited to 2 seats per order, but we want to limit the grand total of seats booked with the promo code to 44.  I'm wondering if you found a way to enforce a limit of the total seats booked, or if I'll need to combine my promo code with a pricing rule in order to achieve this.
