Extraction in Scheduled Status

We have an extraction that is in the Scheduled status, however no one claims to have scheduled it.  We are trying to figure out where the schedule lives - does anyone know so we can check who scheduled it and when?

  • Hi Michele,

I'm not sure about finding out who scheduled it. But if you know it shouldn't be in Scheduled status anymore you can easily clean it up. More about that here: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System/Content/Extraction Sets/Troubleshooting Extraction Errors.htm

    Hope that helps!

  • Thanks Beth - yes we do that already for stuck extractions, but this was the first time we had noticed one stuck in the scheduled status so I wanted to find out who had scheduled it because we don't normally schedule them.

  • My mistake! However, I did happen to stumble across something that may or may not be helpful...

We also don't schedule extractions but in two cases I've had employees try to use the Extract Constituents function and it failed for them. These ended up in SQL Server Agent under the Job folder. They begin with KA Extract then have the extraction number and the date it was attempted. If I open the properties it shows the user that attempted it.

If your scheduled extraction happens to be there it should have the info you're looking for.

    Perhaps?

  • No worries Beth! And that was the first place I thought of for the schedule, but I didn’t find anything with that extraction number in there.  Ah well, we’ve changed the status on it now and are trucking along.

    Michele
