Ticket Import Error - Order has no seats

Hi all (also posted in Ticketing...),

I’m fighting with a ticket import and receiving the following error on many data rows:

“The number of seats queued for new order does not match the import data.  Order will be skipped.”

I tried isolating one of the orders giving this error and importing only one row of data (a single seat, as our import data is formatted so that each row contains only an individual seat, not a seat range).  At that point, I get the error:

“Order has no seats or errors. Order will be skipped.”

I am seeing this on various price types and zones, so I don’t think it’s a problem with my import mapping.

Has anyone had this error before?

Thank you!

  • Hi Frannie,

I don't think I've ever received the first error but I have gotten this before:

The number of seats does not match the number of contiguous seats to be imported for one or more rows.  Order will be skipped.

This was being caused by the presence of a non-seat type with a row and seat number. Have you tried validating the completeness of the facility, and checking the Seat Type legend in Facility Manager?

    Cheers,

    Patrick.

  • Hi Patrick,

Thank you for your response!  I think you are probably right in that the error has something to do with the import procedure not recognizing the seats as available or as real seats--but the Validate Completeness check on the Facility is fine, and Seat Type legend for the seat map in question is also all set.

Anyone else seen this, or something like it?

    Thank you!

    Frannie
