Visa/Electron cards in the UK

Hi everybody

We've always had this received knowledge that we can't put Visa/Electron cards through our Chip & Pin machines in our Box Office. The trouble is that I can't remember for the life of me what the reason was.

I know that our PSP (CommsXL) can process them but Tessitura comes up with declined or invalid payment method. Would this just be that the payment method hasn't been set up in Tess? I can't believe that we've not been able to use the cards for this reason alone!

    Hi Alan,

     

    We take these cards at the box office, online and over the phone – there is no reason for you not to. if you don’t set them up in Tessitura then you will end up with payments going through the chip and pin but not Tessitura.
