Title dropdown

Hi All,

I've had a question in from one of our Box Office people regarding the drop down to select 'Title', to either add a new constituent or change an existing one.

If the first letter is entered (for example M) the list will jump to the first title it finds beginning with M. The list is in alphabetical order so its fairly easy to find the required title from there. However, my BO person wondered why the list doesn't continue to use the letters entered to find the required title. For example: typing Mr will produce '1st LT', which is the first title on the list. The searching appears to go haywire when a second letter is entered.

Not a big problem in the grand scheme of things, but I wondered if there was a setting somewhere which would allow the Title selection to recognise more letters in the search box.

Thanks. Debbie

    Debbie,

There is a defect that is specifically to do with the 1st Lt title or any title with a 1 as the first 'letter' of the the description in the dropdown.  The defect  is resolved in v12.  In the meantime, if you are not using the 1st LT you may delete the row.  If the prefix is in use then you may want to temporarily change the description to 'First LT' until you upgrade to v12.

    Best,

    Anna
