I pose this question to those of you who are running NScan already, have you installed it on any smartphones or pdas? If so, which one(s) are you using and have you ran into any complications?
Maria,
Technically N-Scan can run on any device that has a touch screen and is running PPC 2003 SE, Windows Mobile 5.x, or Windows Mobile 6.x. That would cover a variety of smartphones, however I have personally had mixed results even with phones that meet these requirements. I had a Cingular 8125 that worked great. I saw N-Scan loaded on a Windows Mobile Treo that didn't work well at all. It seemed like the phone just didn't have enough horsepower to run the app well and the screen was more square so it looked a bit odd. So I guess my feeling is that if you have a phone that meets the requirements you still would just have to try it out and see how your particular model seems to do.
