Void Gen Sal

Has anyone created anything to void the gen sal being updated on a patron file?  I know that you can set this in TR_namestatus but we've found that anytime a patron file is updated online, that gen sal is updated and there are certain patron records where they do not want the salutation updated for whatever reason. 

Are you utilizing the TR_namestatus table for this purpose or some custom proc? Any ideas would be appreciated.

    We hard coded this into our site. I believe UpdateConstituentInfoEX or UpdateAccountInfoEX has a parameter to pass for NOT updating the salutation.
