I am about to start having our retail store sales imported into the 'Purchase History' section in constituent records, the one that stores the data in T_GS_PURCHASE.
I am curious how people handle the Source Code and Product Codes.
For this information, I have been imagining recording the name of the retail outlet (main store, popup opening store, street vendor etc...) in the Source Code column, and perhaps some kind of broad product category (book, cd, drink) in the Product Code column.
Obviously the retail outlets making sales may have their own traditional Source codes, but when the information gets to Tessitura, it is more relevant for us to see where the sale came from physically rather than some non-Tessitura source code.
