Anyone got a script to create sort_names?

Hi all,

I just realised that some of our import procedures are not creating sort_names, so I was thinking of setting up a nightly routine that would fix that up. Sort names (especially on households), are a little bit tricky, so before I set off to invent the wheel, I thought I'd find out whether anyone had invented such a thing already? And in which case, could I snaffle it?
