I created a SSRS version of an InfoMaker report and set it up with the same “Name” as the InfoMaker one but with a different “Report ID”, of course. I kept the "Name" same so that users don’t get confused thinking they are two different reports; they can always tell the difference by looking at the icons. Anyway, when I tried to run the SSRS version from the Tessitura client I got an error like “URL can’t be found” and was right away kicked out from Tessitura! It took me a while to find out that two reports can’t have the same name, though with different “Report ID”s, in Tessitura! When I changed the name to something different from the InfoMaker version, only then it started to work fine.
Thought I would share the information here so that you know what to do if you ever find yourself into this situation since the error message doesn’t make any sense and also the exit is not very graceful.
