I just realized that I'm not doing transaction log backups for the two Transcend databases (TPAU and TPAU Archive). Do you?
I also just found that the Report Server database transaction logs are being backed up every 15 minutes. Is that really necessary?
When you install the TPAU database there is a script that Intrix specifies that is to be run that sets this database to simple recovery model. In the script they specify that "TPA likes the simple recovery model". We like to have a bit more recoverability than that, so have changed the recovery model to full and backup the trans log every hour.
I agree that the report server database does not need to be backed up so often. I have changed that one to simple recovery model and back it up nightly.
