Package sales number

I need to post a question about package sales tracking. We are the middle of our 2013 package  sales campaign  and my marketing department keep having issues getting the correct total  number of packages sold.

 

They are currently using the Tessitura Package Sales Report and the total  package seats changes hourly, sometimes increasing and sometimes decreasing.  We are trying to find out the most accurate way to get the correct number of packages we have sold at any given time. 

 

In terms of report criteria, are they correct in understanding that pulling Fully and Partially Paid orders will include individuals who still have a balance due on their subscription order?  Or is the Package number only including packages that have all tickets fully paid for? 

 

We have tried  running a T-Stats report but that is not live data and it number is  different from the other report.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated as we have this issues every year and are desperate to determine an accurate way to track our sales.
